Blotup is a collaborative Chrome extension designed to help teams and individuals brainstorm, organise, and visualise ideas seamlessly. I undertook a comprehensive redesign of the site, focused on crafting a cohesive design system and elevated key elements. User research (interviews and surveys) highlighted common pain points including confusing navigation and cluttered layouts. Competitive analysis benchmarked Blotup against similar platforms and grounded the design strategy. The final design leans on a hand-drawn aesthetic with dotted-grid backgrounds, playful highlights (words like "mark" and "Chrome" highlighted in yellow and peach as if by the extension itself), and a clean information hierarchy across features, tools, how-it-works, and privacy sections.
