Mindflow is a mental health platform designed to empower users with easy access to resources, self-help tools, and professional guidance. Built as my final-year research project during my Computer Engineering degree, the work exemplifies my interest in leveraging design for social good. Initial research identified that the mental health app market was saturated with complex and impersonal interfaces. Ten user interviews revealed 70% cited navigation complexity as the main deterrent; anonymity, personalisation, and ease of access were prioritised. Key features: a quick-access menu, guest mode to reduce onboarding friction, WCAG-compliant pastel palette, and an LLM-powered chatbot fine-tuned on domain-specific mental health data. The chatbot achieved 85% query resolution and 92% user satisfaction across three student cohorts. Published as a peer-reviewed research paper on Zenodo.
